Extended Description

Ayaawx is the body of Tsm’syen customary law: inherited teachings, protocols, obligations, behavioural expectations, correct conduct, authority structures, and the ethical order governing social, political, and ceremonial life.
It governs feasts, marriages, adoptions, inheritance, land relationships, titles, responsibilities between houses, and maintaining balance within the community.
