New page

=== Authority May Be Withdrawn by Lawful Process ===

Authority may be withdrawn when it is no longer carried lawfully.

Under Ayaawx, authority is not permanent.
It exists only while responsibilities are upheld and legitimacy is maintained.

Withdrawal may occur when:

* Misuse of authority persists after correction or rebalancing.
* Responsibilities continue to be neglected or violated.
* Harm to people, land, or lawful order remains unresolved.
* Witnesses no longer recognize the authority as legitimate.
* Authority is used to dominate, exploit, silence, enrich, or serve external interests.

Withdrawal of authority is not arbitrary.
It must follow lawful process.

Lawful process includes:

* Clear identification of the violation.
* Opportunity for response, correction, and restoration.
* Review by House, elders, or lawful governance bodies.
* Public acknowledgment before witnesses.
* Recording in public memory to preserve clarity for future generations.

Withdrawal of authority does not erase identity, name, or belonging.
It withdraws the right to act, speak, or decide on behalf of others.

Its purpose is to:

* Protect the integrity of Ayaawx.
* Prevent ongoing harm.
* Restore lawful governance.
* Ensure authority remains tied to responsibility.

Ayaawx principle:
''Authority exists by law, and by law it may be withdrawn.''
